I look forward to your ratings and high scores.
The new Assassin's Creed was surrounded by
doubt and bad expectations, coming mainly from its resemblance of the
third game, its non-assassin friendly Carribean setting, and
the fact, that it's hard to insert new, fresh, exciting things into a
well-established franchise.
I know, I am being extremely unoriginal
and not different from all the gaming webs and blogs out there, but I just had to. The list of my most anticipated games in the next year
is almost a tradition that every gaming „journalist“ is bound to
do.
The Assassin's Creed franchise is one of those franchises, that just sweep the gaming community, get extremely popular, and last several years with amazing profits, because their concept is so catchy and entertaining. I must admit myself; I've also fallen under its spell. Learning history the fun way, climbing and running on the roofs of historic cities, the mysterious conflict of Assassins and Templars - I love it all.
